Faster Forward: Self-Driving Seniors
As senior citizens get older, a big concern is that many lose the ability to drive. This can be limiting, but new developments in autonomous vehicle technology might offer a way for seniors to stay active, as well as safe. In the last month, dozens of would-be riders gathered for a self-driving car demonstration at Babcock Ranch, Fla., a new sustainable development that’s being built to accommodate autonomous driving technology from day one.
A recent demonstration in Florida shows how senior citizens can use autonomous vehicle technology to stay active and safe on the roads.
