Three New Electrified Fords Spearhead EV Strategy

A full BEV Ford Mustang-inspired SUV will head the line-up of electrified versions of three new nameplates in the next five years as part of the carmaker’s pledge towards a full electrification.

According to Ford this constitutes “the most comprehensive line-ups of electrified options for European customers”. The new nameplates are in addition to all-new Kuga, Puma and Explorer Plug-In Hybrid coming by early 2020.

“Our future is rooted in electrification,” said Stuart Rowley, president, Ford of Europe. “We are electrifying across our portfolio, providing all of our customers with more accessible vehicle options that are fun to drive, have improved fuel economy and are better for our environment.”
