NAVTEQ supplies map data to Samsung

The agreement also gives Samsung the right to use NAVTEQ content to enhance navigation device functionality:
- Visual Content improves orientation through a 3D display of prominent landmarks and 3D city models
- Speed Limitsfacilitates improved arrival times, information about maximum road speed and potential speed violation warnings
- Extended Lanes expands the capability to guide drivers into the correct lane at complex junctions
- NAVTEQ Discover CitiesTM enables orientation and navigation on foot and via public transport systems
Samsung will launch the GPS-enabled Samsung I8910 HD (OmniaHD) with NAVTEQ® Map and content in Europe in May.
