Driverless Tech Software Claims Standardization Ability

An autonomous technology software specialist claims to have developed a new suite able to bring together all the competing driverless technology currently used.
AImotive has announced the next generation of its AI-powered self-driving full-stack software, aiDrive2. It claims that, through a modular design, the technology will “serve as a platform for deeper collaboration in an industry dominated by proprietary ‘walled garden’ approaches”. It says automakers, Tier 1 suppliers and robo-taxi companies will have the ability to cherry-pick third party autonomous technologies and integrate selected modules into a best-in-class solution. It also claims to be compatible with a wide range of different sensor types and hardware platforms.
Laszlo Kishonti, AImotive CEO, said: “AImotive has always supported industry collaboration and standardization. These will be vital in securing consumer trust in autonomous driving technologies.”
