World News:  First GPS-Glonass navigator units sold out within minutes

The first batch of 1,000 navigator units capable of receiving signals from both Russia’s Glonass and the US’s GPS was sold out within twenty minutes.

The dual Glonass-GPS navigation units can receive twelve Glonass channels and twenty GPS channels.

Along with the news that Russia had launched three navigation space satellites GLONASS-M into space on December 25, the Federal Space Agency announced it will launch six Glonass satellites this year to enlarge its orbiting cluster.
