Why let the facts interfere with a good headline?
A report on TelecomTV.com points out that just when the world agrees that talking on a handheld phone while driving is a bad idea, along comes MobiTV and UIEvolution to create on-demand streaming video and live-carTV.
"Motor City Madness at its best," shrieks TelecomTV, adding that since teenage drivers already have a nasty habit of bouncing off guardrails into oncoming traffic, how much worse will they be when the latest MTV video is pulsing from dashboard LCD screens?
Fast forward to the final sentence in the report: "UIE … and MobiTV …will bring the viewing convenience of the living room to the back seat of tomorrow's vehicles."
Well, if the driver's sitting in the back seat, the car's going to crash anyway …
