Video: Getting insurance telematics right

In this video from Insurance Telematics Europe 2013, Paul Middle, head of telematics, RSA Group, talks to TU’s Jan Stojaspal about the six long years it took his company to get an insurance telematics product right. That product uses advanced telematics to build a picture of a driver’s individual style and to reward drivers with biggest improvements over time. It is now available in partnership with ingenie, the car insurance brand for drivers aged 17 to 25. But two previous products – one that was curfew-based, another that emphasized eco-friendliness – failed.
