UIE Automotive debuts myCar™ mobile platform at Telematics Detroit

This innovative, flexible, easy-to-adapt technology will be exhibited and demonstrated in booth # 68-69 at Telematics Detroit, the world's largest conference for the wireless automotive and mobile industry.
Those attending the conference on June 2-3 at The Rock Financial Showplace in Novi, Michigan, will see first-hand how UIE Automotive's myCarTM platform connects vehicles with owners on their mobile devices, showcasing connected services on the iPhone from Apple and RIM's Blackberry Bold.
Automakers and content providers can deliver real-time vehicle and location-based services though myCarTM such as owner information, vehicle locator/tracker and routing services as well as guides for local restaurants, events and gas prices, all conveniently displayed on consumers' mobile devices.
With real-time updates on the health of vehicles, myCarTM keeps vehicle owners connected with dealers and manufacturers while quickly diagnosingtheir vehicles' service needs. The myCarTM platform allows drivers to use their handsets to access remote vehicle features such as door lock and unlock, start engine, and check tyre pressure.
