Toyota to Debut Compact SUV at Geneva

Toyota will use the 2020 Geneva Motor Show for the world debut of a new compact urban SUV.
It says all its experience of building large SUVs will be brought to bear on the new B-segment vehicle. Naturally, car will have a raised ground clearance, an intelligent all-wheel drive system and Toyota’s latest hybrid powertrain technology.
A teaser image doesn’t tell us much about the car’s design beyond a roof mounted rear spoiler, featured in many larger SUVs such as the Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport. The cut-off rear tailgate is also a standard design feature on many current larger SUVs.
Toyota will also use leading European motor show to debut its new Yaris and the new RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid SUV. The all-new Mirai will also appear in public in Europe for the first time, presented in a dedicated area highlighting the automaker’s commitment to helping build a future hydrogen society, in line with its plans for the Japanese domestic market.
