Toyota Expands LCV Electrification Plans

Toyota will expand its European light commercial vehicle (LCV) offering while launching a bespoke business-focused new brand, Toyota Professional.
Following on from the reveal of the new compact Toyota Proace City at the UK’s Commercial Vehicle Show 2019, the automaker will create more BEV versions of the Proace, in collaboration with Groupe PSA, starting across Europe in 2020.
At the same time, it will launch Toyota Professional as a way of targeting the needs of businesses. Matt Harrison, Toyota Motor Europe executive vice-president, said: “This highlights Toyota’s commitment to its growing number of LCV customers and includes a dedicated network to ensure we deliver the right customer experience.”
