The Auto Industry Kicks off 2014 with a Display of Innovation with Toyota, Mercedes-Benz and Ford Leading the Pack

It looks like 2014 is the year of the connected car. Toyota, Mercedes-Benz and Ford are just a few of the connected car star acts already making their 2014 debut. Toyota's FV2 “Future Mobility Concept” was a definite showstopper. Mercedes advanced the connected car conversation with integrations of wearable technology and Ford displayed its next iteration of AppLink, which will introduce a great deal more openness and will be launching in Europe next month. As the year of the connected car gets underway, Telematics Update can announce the dates for Europe’s most significant telematics event, Telematics Munich 2014, which will take place on 10^th -11^th November at The Hotel Dolce, Munich.
