The Telematics Update Awards are the connected automotive and web industries’ most prestigious awards.  Each of the twelve categories celebrates specific segments of the telematics space and any company independent of size, legacy or history can submit a nomination for free. The 2013/14 Industry Newcomer Award aims to hugely elevate the profile of developing businesses. Only new companies can be nominated for this category to ensure the latest telematics products are placed in the press, media and industry limelight and recognised for their innovation. Nomination is simple: a short product outline submitted online in 3 easy steps before the March 14 deadline (www.telematicsawards.com).

The Telematics Update Awards Ceremony will be held on the event of Telematics Detroit 2014 (June 3), the largest global gathering of telematics executives. Telematics Detroit 2014 Project Director, Gareth Ragg commented “Recognizing and supporting emerging telematics talent is the secret to the longevity of our industry. The upsurge of new start-ups is what makes this space so interesting in 2014.”

Companies of all sizes are celebrated, and judging is based on quality of product or service to ensure that new talent and products have the opportunity to stand-out in front of the entire telematics industry, opening doors for new partnerships and investment.

Nominations can be submitted via the website www.telematicsawards.com where instructions can be found. Telematics Update gives businesses the unrivalled opportunity to gain recognition and exposure to the industry. Submissions must be in by March 14.

The winners will be announced at a glamorous ceremony on June 3 at the Hyatt Place Detroit, MI on the eve of the largest global gathering of Telematics executives – Telematics Detroit 2014 Conference & Exhibition, June 4-5, Novi, MI.
