Telematics Update’s involvement in last week’s Mobile Voice Conference in California demonstrated that the concept of the connect-car and a highly personalized user experience is spreading. Telematics Update’s representative Dave McNamara (previous multi-media and infotainment manager at Ford) spoke on the topic of ‘Talking to your Car: Speech Technology in the Automobile’ and shared insight from Telematics Update’s brand new Automotive Human Machine Interface Report for 2013. He noted that the automotive is catching up with the mobile industry in keeping the consumer ever-connected.
