Safety, Distracted Driving, and the Role of Advanced Technology

Augmented reality will soon become a natural extension for car makers, helping them relay crucial information to the driver of their surroundings through the screen, such as text messages and hazard detection alerts. These systems will help assess the digital rendition graphics of surroundings, such as low visibility road edges, erratic driver alerts, lane-merger notifications and sudden traffic slowdown, and even potential use cases for mHealth and biometric sensors are on the horizon.
