Super Cruise Comes to Chevy Bolt EUV

Latest in the sneak peek of upcoming technology is the first official silhouette glimpse of the new Chevrolet Bolt EUV and refreshed Bolt EV.

The headliner here is that the Bolt EUV is the first Chevvy to get General Motors’ much lauded Super Cruise automated driving feature. It clearly illustrates how automakers are focused on driving autonomous features down from the premium products into the mass market segments as quickly as they can.

The thinking is that these features are now ready to form a major plank of the carmakers’ marketing strategy aimed at commuters desiring a less stressful run into work thanks to the automation available on highways and in slow moving urban traffic situations. Handsfree operation is being seen as an attractive option for those who have to spend a lot of time in the vehicles whether for business or hectic school runs.

Chevrolet is promising that both of the new vehicles will go into production in summer 2021.
