Renault Lines Up New EV with Sneak Peek

Renault will be unveiling a new EV at its inaugural digital Renault eWays launch event on October 15.

To whet the EV lobby’s taste buds, the automaker has released the first detail of one of the vehicle’s design language in the shape of a headlamp cluster. It will be based on the all-new CMF-EV modular platform dedicated to EVs. It will also launch its budget sub-brand’s Dacia Spring that has made it beyond the concept stage to production readiness and aimed at bringing electrification to the masses.

The automaker is hoping its Renault eWays event will be the first of many digital presentations “dedicated to exploring the future of mobility, cities and technology via a series of press conferences, world premieres and panel discussions” or at least until the pandemic abates and in-person auto shows are back on the agenda.
