Polestar R-Amps Up its Power

Polestar is sticking true to its performance car roots with the launch of a power pack upgrade for the new Polestar 2.

Leading the performance charge is an electric drivetrain boasting 400bhp and 486ft-lbs of torque, with all wheel drive and 78 kWh of battery capacity boosting both performance and range. On top of the powertrain gain, the pack also includes Brembo brakes, adjustable Öhlins dampers and 20-inch forged alloy wheels complemented by gold seatbelts and valve caps.

Thomas Ingenlath, chief executive officer of Polestar, said: “The Performance Pack allows us to take Polestar 2 driving dynamics to the next level. Some highly specialised additions, tuned by our engineers, deliver an even more engaging and unique Polestar experience.”
