Polestar Promises Big for its SUV Coupé BEV
Polestar has released its first detail image of the next BEV in its lineup to be unveiled at next week’s Auto Shanghai international show in China.
The Polestar 4 will be coupé-styled SUV is said to enjoy the aerodynamics of a coupé with the interior space of an SUV. Many other automakers have tried this concept with some mixed results often marrying the disadvantages of both vehicle types more than the benefits.
Nonetheless, Polestar says the vehicle’s design cues and sustainability features, initially showcased in its concept cars, make their series production debut in this model. The automaker also promises the Polestar 4 will be the fastest model in its lineup to date. Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO, said: “Polestar 4 is not simply a modified version of our first SUV. Instead, we reconsidered the entire design to create a new breed of SUV coupé.”
