Pay As You Drive – "unpaused"?
Just read this article titled "Ditched pay-as-you-drive insurance set for revival?" discussing Norwich Union's decision to put the brakes on its PAYD scheme back in June 2006.
"A pioneering pay-as-you-drive insurance scheme aimed at helping carefuldrivers cut their premiums which ground to a halt earlier this year maybe set for a revival – if the car industry plays catch-up with theright technology. "
So according to the NU spokesperson mentioned in this article it seems Norwich Union's PAYD scheme will remain stationary until black boxes become an integral part of vehicles… hmmm, so maybe NU will be waiting for a little while then??
