NAVTEQ offers DKV pan-European truck stop POIs
It is based on data from DKV Euro Service, Europe's specialist provider of fuel cards, breakdown support and other services for lorries.
By taking advantage of DKV's network of service stations, NAVTEQ has produced a rich data set featuring more than 17,000 filling stations (including coverage in the UK & Republic of Ireland) along with valuable and practical information on each location.
The content includes information on accessibility by lorries, the availability of HGV pumps and power supply, type of fuels sold (truck diesel, biodiesel mix, vegetable oil, additives such as AdBlue etc), car or truck wash facilities, payment options, and the availability of on-site shower facilities.
Designed to complement NAVTEQ Maps and NAVTEQ Transport, (the map data featuring specific information for transport industry routing), this new detailed POI data supports customers in providing much broader search capabilities for finding and selecting service stations in almost forty European countries:
