Intrinsyc and NAVTEQ sign multi-year agreement
The new agreement will see NAVTEQ map content bundled with Intrinsyc navigation software.
Intrinsyc recently purchased Destinator Technologies' GPS-related assets and patents.
The Intrinsyc-NAVTEQ relationship provides wireless device makers with a single source for NAVTEQ digital maps, Destinator navigation software, and the Soleus software platform for wireless handheld development, as well as Intrinsyc's wireless engineering services – including systems integration, Board Support Package (BSP) development, and power management.
