Hyundai Reveals First Sneak Peek at Latest BEV

Hyundai has published the first official concept sketches of its proposed latest BEV, the Ioniq 6.

The concept images suggests a radically streamlined silhouette albeit one yet to be tested against the raft of vehicle design regulations that often see designed watered down to pass safety standard. Hyundai says the design is inspired by its Prophecy concept EV and be referred to as the Electrified Streamliner.

The car takes advantage of Hyundai’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) to provide a stretched wheelbase and improved interior design. In the coming days, additional Ioniq teaser images will be revealed on Hyundai’s official social media channels. Hyundai will fully unveil both exterior and interior designs of its new electrified streamliner later this month.
