Hyundai Premium Sports BEV Concept for Geneva

Hyundai will unveil a premium sportscar BEV concept that looks like it could give plenty of traditional premium brands a run for their money.

Dubbed the “Prophecy”, it will make its world debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show and form the latest expression of the company’s design language.

The automaker says it is in line with its “Sensuous Sportiness” design philosophy, boasting a swooping silhouette, muscular curves and broad rear flanks to enhance aerodynamics. The boat-tail line created by the rear quarter panels are complemented by the integrated spoiler and pixel lamp taillights.

Hyundai says the name “Prophecy” reflects the concept’s purpose to define the direction of future designs. SangYup Lee, head of the Hyundai Global Design Center, said: ““Prophecy” does not follow trends. It accentuates timeless beauty that will stand the test of time. Its iconic design stands to expand Hyundai’s design spectrum toward even broader horizons.”
