High profile government representation at Europe telematics conference

Proof that connected car technology is shaping government policy has come in the shape of both German and UK fielding keynote speakers at this year’s TU-Automotive Europe 2015 in Stuttgart.

Must-see presentations will feature Norbert Barthle, parliamentary state secretary, Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (DE) and Iain Forbes, head of the centre for connected and autonomous vehicles, Department for Transport (UK).

Both presentations outline the initiatives each government is putting in place to support the continued rise of the connected and automated car.

Project director, Jack Palmer, said “The presence of the German and British governments reinforces that TU-Automotive Europe is a must-attend event for anyone working in the connected car market right now. Tickets are selling quickly and there is no doubt that there will be a surge in bookings after this recent announcement.”

TU-Automotive Europe, this coming 2-3 November, attracts 1,100 of the most senior automotive tech players in Europe. A sample list of delegates that have already signed up, including Volvo, Toyota, BMW and Kia, is available on the website: https://tu-auto.com/europe/attendees.php

The two-day conference will cover telematics, connected car data, ADAS to Autonomous, the connected car & IoT, mobility, and security. Delegates will leave with the knowledge and contacts crucial to their success in the connected car and mobility arena.
