Garmin is further developing its two-year relationship with MINI by offering a new generation of navigation products for the OEM's MINI range.

The MINI accessory mount fits the interior of all left- and right-hand drive MINI's manufactured after 2006. All wiring is hidden within the mount. Once Garmin's nüvi® 255 is attached to the custom mount, the device will look like part of the original dash.

The unit can be removed from the mount and used in pedestrian mode outside of the vehicle. Furthermore, the mount may be used with other Garmin PNDs, enabling MINI customers to keep pace with the latest advances from Garmin.

Garmin is also working with PSA-Peugeot Citroën to provide a new portable navigation accessory for Citroën customers.

Available as an after-market accessory, nüvi® 765 PND will initially be offered in the new Citroën C3 Picasso, due for launch across Europe starting this month, and in other Peugeot and Citroën models later this year.

The nüvi® 765 will integrate with the car's power system, and will feature technology such as ecoRouteTM, lane assist and junction view, 3D city views, GPS HotFixTM technology, photo navigation, Bluetooth and MP3 support.

The device comes preloaded with detailed street maps and millions of POIs, and the European version includes a preloaded safety camera database.
