Fiat Rediscovers Cuteness with Topolino Micro BEV

Fiat is targeting the young and young-at-heart with a post-war Fiat 500 inspired city BEV hoping to advance its urban mobility ambitions.

It has released the first image of the cutely named Topolino described as a quadricycle hoping to capture some of the city coolness of the original micro car. So far, few details have been released but expect a limited range and affordable price from the doorless vehicle.

However, unless it has a portable detachable battery pack, it doesn’t solve the urbanite’s main challenge of how to charge the vehicle with most living in apartments and with access to few public chargers, which are expensive even if they are available. Still, it’s pretty and we await more details in due course.
