EV-Only Audi Stand For Geneva

Audi is showing its commitment to electric powertrains by hosting a Geneva Motor Show stand exclusively stocked by EVs.
Among the highlights for fans of alternatively fueled cars will be the world premiere of the Audi Q4 e-tron concept and the European reveal of the Audi e-tron GT concept. A total of four BEV cars are at the forefront for Audi which says they will all be in series production form by the end of 2020. On top of these, four new plug-in hybrid models will also make their debuts.
Deliveries of the Audi e-tron are set to begin shortly, claims the carmaker, while the series-production version of its coupé equivalent, the Audi e-tron Sportback, will be introduced later in 2019. The Audi Q2 L e-tron SUV will be presented in a few weeks time in China prior to going on sale in the market later this year. Even the two concepts on show at Geneva, Audi e-tron GT and Audi Q4 e-tron, have already been scheduled for series production in 2020.
For this year, too, Audi is planning plug-in versions for almost all markets of its high volume lines including Audi A6, A7, A8 and Q5 which will be making their public debut at the show. Chairman of the Audi board of management, Bram Schot, said: “We have set ourselves a clear goal – one in three new Audi vehicles sold will have electrified drive in 2025 already. Because we are pursuing a clear vision – we are committing ourselves to emission-free mobility.”
