Europe News: Masternaut Three X acquires FibreCity for £6m

Masternaut Three X has acquired Leeds-based ISP, FibreCity, in a deal worth £6 million.

FibreCity has been a front-runner in the Internet service provision and applications market since the company was founded in 1987.

The acquisition enables Masternaut Three X to provide more extended hosted back-office solutions that are fully integrated with its telematics and mobile software.

“This is a significant development for Masternaut Three X,” said Maternaut Three X managing director, adding that the deal enables the company to provide customers with comprehensive service and solutions packages that include secure fully-managed hosting in Masternaut’s own datacentres.

FibreCity’s Bue Chip customers include Aga Rayburn, BAE Systems, Fired Earth and NASA.

“This acquisition is the right thing for us at a time when we are enjoying phenomenal success and growth,” said Port.
