BMW’s Coming i4 BEV Sneak Peek at Annual Conference

BMW chose its annual earnings conference to provide a brief glimpse of its long-awaited BEV sports sedan, the BMW i4.
First unveiled back at the 2019 Frankfurt Auto Show, the sharp looking executive sportster was received as one of the most exciting new models the automaker has made in many years. It is being billed as a four-door Gran Coupé and will reach European showrooms sometime this year.
In keeping with the automaker’s sporting heritage, it will also be joined by a BMW M Performance model. The BMW i4 model line will be available in different versions covering ranges of up to 366 miles on the WLTP rating. It claims a power output of up to 526bhp delivering a 0 to 60 mph sprint time in around 4 seconds.
Speaking at the conference, Pieter Nota, member of the board of management of BMW responsible for customer, brands and sales, said: “With its sporty looks, best in class driving dynamics and zero local emissions, the BMW i4 is a true BMW. It makes the heart of the BMW brand now beat fully electric.”
