America News: Lincoln to offer Sirius as standard equipment
Sirius Satellite Radio is to be offered as standard factory-installed equipment in the Lincoln MKZ, MKX, Navigator, Navigator L and Mark LT, beginning with the 2008 model year.
Sirius Satellite Radio is currently offered on 22 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles as a factory-installed option.
It will be available on the 2008 Ford Focus later this year, bringing the total to 23.
The Lincoln line-up will be the first to include the equipment as standard.
Almost 600,000 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles have already been shipped with factory installed Sirius satellite radios. a number that is expected to more than double in 2007.
