ABI’s Dominique Bonte to moderate Software Strategies Panel at Consumer Telematics 2009
The panel, Software strategies – the case for an open source solution and open platform solution, will explore the steps that can be taken to speed adoption and overcome challenges. Specifically, the panel members will address:
- How to make an open source approach work in the in-vehicle environment
- The impact this approach will have on the value chain in terms of platforms and updates
- New emerging business models and how existing OEM and Tier 1 models are changing
- The data management considerations that come with an open source solution
