Bob has a BSEE from Lawrence Technological University. For over 20 years, Bob has been involved in the design and implementation of embedded electronic powertrain control systems. Bob has a United States Patent for his work in misfire detection systems and has been involved in numerous “first in the world starts” of new vehicle powertrain applications. Bob has also been involved in the development and testing of On Board Diagnostics Systems and publications in the area of OBD Communications techniques.

Bob is currently the OBD Communication Expert for Volkswagen Group of America. His duties include investigation and analysis of OBD issues in the field for Volkswagen group vehicles. His activities also include technical representation for the Volkswagen Group in North America in OBD related matters. He is Vice-Chairman of the SAE E/E Diagnostics Committee and is a constant contributor to its attendant OBD-related Task Forces. He is Vice-Chairman of both the J1962 Vehicle Diagnostic Connector Task Force and J1978 OBDII Scan Tool Task Forces. He is also co-author of the J1699-2 Test Cases for OBD-II Scan Tools and I/M Test Equipment Task Force.

Allen Greenberg has over 20 years of experience in analyzing and advocating for sustainable U.S transportation policy at the national and regional levels from both inside and outside of government. As a senior policy analyst at the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for the past 15 years, Mr. Greenberg plays a leadership role with the Value Pricing Pilot Program, cultivating, developing, and managing transportation pricing pilot initiatives. Mr. Greenberg designs, secures funding for, and manages a broad range of especially innovative pay‑as‑you‑drive (PAYD) pilots (including car insurance, vehicle leases and taxes, car sharing, household vehicle ownership reduction incentives, and parking charges), enabling financial savings through reduced driving. Mr. Greenberg also leads the creation of new policy, research, and other initiatives for FHWA. Prior to joining FHWA, Mr. Greenberg spent two years at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), where he directed the Transportation Partners Program, which provided grants and technical assistance to national not-for-profit organizations that promoted local transportation demand management initiatives. While at USEPA, Mr. Greenberg also directed the Project XL partnership with Progressive Insurance, where Progressive shared with USEPA anonymized data on driving from customers of its first PAYD insurance product, Autograph, and USEPA publicized whatever benefits that it found. Prior to government service, Mr. Greenberg worked as Government Relations Director of the League of American Bicyclists—securing over 30 specific bicycle-friendly provisions in the 1998 U.S. surface transportation bill and implementing the provisions of the law enacted in 1991. Mr. Greenberg has authored eight peer-reviewed research papers on pay-as-you-drive (PAYD) insurance and also various articles on PAYD insurance and parking pricing. He holds a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

David Lukens is a Director of Telematics at LexisNexis, responsible for telematics and mobile solutions for the auto insurance market. He has been engaged in the insurance telematics space since the mid-1990s, initially developing practices to use event data recorder (EDR) data for accident investigation and reconstruction. Prior to LexisNexis, David was product development manager with AIG’s personal lines auto group. There he was responsible for building and delivering new multivariate rating models for the agency and direct distribution channels. He also has managed claims operations in AIG’s personal lines auto group, serving as process leader for both the physical damage and casualty areas. David holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a master’s degree from the University of Delaware.

Prior to becoming R&D Director at Wunelli, a LexisNexis Company, Paul studied engineering and then gained a scholarship to complete his Masters of Mathematics. After studies Paul joined the Insurance industry, working first in Australia and then in the last decade in the United Kingdom. In 2006 Paul was the British Insurance Times Young Insurer of the Year.

Paul is both Australian and English and lives in Hampshire England with his wife and two sons, both of which will have telematics devices installed in their vehicles.

Steve Bojan brings over 18 years of operations and risk management experience in the transportation industry to HUB International. He came on board as a Senior Risk Consultant in the Risk Services Division (HUB Risk Services) and is presently the Vice President for Risk Services - Fleet. He serves as a resource for HUB clients with transportation related risks, providing risk control, safety, property, environmental, and workers compensation reduction guidance to HUB’s clients.

Mr. Bojan’s specialties include, but are not limited to, transportation risk management, driver and supervisor training, truckload operations, DOT compliance, safety program development, and specialty fleet operations, including moving and non-emergency medical transportation.

During his career, Mr. Bojan has served as a Risk Management Analyst for USF Logistics, Operations Manager for a large moving and storage company, Insurance and Claims Manager for JDC Logistics, and most recently as a Risk Engineer for Zurich’s Transportation Division. Additionally, he was responsible for branch management and human resources in a number of his positions.

As a loss control consultant, Mr Bojan provided fleet safety consulting services to construction, business vehicle and trucking fleets. He conducted driver training on DOT regulations, defensive driving, and vehicle inspections. Additionally, he reviewed DOT compliance programs and worked with clients to improve them so that they were would be acceptable during audits. He also worked with clients to review losses for critical trends and conducted root cause analysis for large losses. While at Zurich also conducted risk assessments for underwriters to determine risk exposure for new and existing clients.

As an Insurance and Claims Manager at JDC Logistics ($120M truckload carrier), Mr. Bojan was responsible for purchasing all lines of insurance and managing all claims, including workers compensation, auto liability, and cargo. He also worked as part of the safety team to identify loss trends and implement a number of best practices to reduce the cost of risk. He reduced the cost of premiums for all lines of insurance, worked proactively with insurance carriers, and assisted with the implementation of new safety programs to reduce the number of accidents, serve as a resource for haz mat, OSHA, and created cargo claims program.

As a Risk Management Analyst at USF Logistics, Mr. Bojan served as a safety and compliance resource for dedicated logistics accounts throughout North America, and managed the claims process for large auto and workers compensation claims. In this role he coordinated accident situations, including haz-mat and DOT reportable situations, negotiated and processed the settlement of physical and property damage claims, assessed liability exposure and created an accrual for all accidents. He coordinated legal counsel on litigated claims, expedite the TPA’s handling of claims, and prevented fraudulent claims.

Mr. Bojan holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Media Studies from the University of Illinois, and a Masters of Business Administration with an Industrial Marketing Concentration from Miami University.

Prior to CalAmp, Peter was CEO of Crashboxx Telematics which he founded in 2010 to exploit the unmet needs of P&C insurers seeking to automate vehicle crash notification and analysis. Crashboxx was acquired by CalAmp in April 2015. Beginning with a basic crash grade event data recorder (EDR), the product line was expanded to include predictive analytics for occupant injury delivered in near real time. Assembled a small team of top class vehicle safety engineers with deep experience and know how in the development of OEM embedded systems to build advanced predictive analytics crash solutions. Expanded the product range to real time predictive analytics for physical damage and UBI (driver scoring). Established excellent relationships in the insurance claims software and risk analytics industry, serving as a foundation for distribution to major property and casualty insurers worldwide. Led the effort to prepare and submit a robust US utility patent application for the core technologies.

Prior to founding Crashboxx, Peter founded and ran Injurytek which offered consulting services to vehicle recyclers, aftermarket parts manufacturers and law firms related to airbag testing, certification and training. He has worked with the senior leadership of vehicle recycling industry for over a decade advising the national association and individual car and truck recyclers about safety, handling and inspection of non-deployed OEM airbag modules. Awarded the President’s Award for outstanding service to the US vehicle recycling industry in 2009.

Prior to his entrepreneurial career Peter held management and supervisory roles at several leading automotive tier one safety system suppliers including TRW Automotive (airbag, seat belt and chassis systems), Kelsey Hayes (vehicle braking, ABS and electronic stability controls) and Donnelly Corporation (auto dimming mirrors and thin film glass for LCDs). He was granted US and international patents in the airbag module testing field. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics and accounting at Trinity College Dublin (1982) and graduate degree (MBA) at Notre Dame (1992). Scott Palmer is a Senior Vice President for Products & Technology at CCC Information Services and is responsible for science-based analytics and research for auto claims solutions. Before joining CCC, Scott founded Injury Sciences LLC, the first and leading provider of science-based auto claim evaluation technologies, which was acquired by CCC in December 2012.

Scott has worked in the field of injury causation since 1987. He is the architect of numerous claims technologies that facilitate the use of repair estimate data to evaluate the cause of injuries and auto “black box” information in the evaluation of liability and injury causation. His work has been published numerous times in the past two decades. During his career, Scott has also been actively involved in low velocity collision and soft tissue injury research and has been a test subject in over a dozen low velocity collision experiments, many of which have been published.

Prior to founding Injury Sciences, Scott was the President and CEO of Biodynamic Research Corporation in San Antonio, TX, an internationally recognized firm in the field of impact biomechanics and injury causation.

As CEO Aldo leads the sales and business development efforts and is responsible for growing The Floow into the world leading provider of analytical insights at the service of the global automotive ecosystem.

He conceived and founded The Floow in 2012, with the vision of making vehicles safer and cheaper for all. In particular Aldo saw the potential to transform the telematics industry from the convergence of mobile technologies, large scale data mining and psychology applied to driver behaviour.

After a career in investment banking, in 2000 Aldo became an entrepreneur and investor in high growth telematics companies.

Aldo is a graduate of Stanford University, Graduate School of Business, where he earned an MSc in Management (Sloan Fellows). He is a member of the Sloan Alumni Advisory Board of Stanford GSB and graduated “cum laude” from the University of Pavia's "Economia e Commercio" program in Italy.

Product Design Engineer on numerous automotive safety devices and owner of 12 US patents related to automotive safety. Designed and released air bag modules for numerous OEM platforms including Toyota Camry passenger air bags, VW New Beetle driver air bags, GM Impala side impact air bags.

Crash Reconstruction Engineer providing automotive accident reconstruction and Engineering analysis for the Crash Injury Research and Engineering Network (CIREN). Provide detailed vehicle inspection and crash scene reconstruction, occupant kinematic analysis and injury causation determinations. Assisted in multiple research programs including publication of research papers in both medical and engineering forums.

As vice president of Verisk Telematics, a Verisk Analytics business, Jim Levendusky leads product development and strategic marketing for auto and commercial telematics and usage-based insurance (UBI) products. He joined Verisk Analytics in 2002 as senior product manager. In 2012, he became auto marketing manager for underwriting at Verisk Insurance Solutions, where he managed marketing and development for a variety of personal and commercial lines products.

Before joining Verisk, Mr. Levendusky held positions in computer center management, auto insurance underwriting, operations analysis, insurance product management, and specialty products marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in finance from Baruch College.

Prior to joining HiMEX, Russ was VP Business Development at Code Objects - a leading policy and claims software provider to the insurance industry.  He designed and oversaw development of next-generation policy and claims administration systems. 

Russ has held executive management positions at several insurance companies, including Progressive and Sagamore.
