Bob has a BSEE from Lawrence Technological University. For over 20 years, Bob has been involved in the design and implementation of embedded electronic powertrain control systems. Bob has a United States Patent for his work in misfire detection systems and has been involved in numerous “first in the world starts” of new vehicle powertrain applications. Bob has also been involved in the development and testing of On Board Diagnostics Systems and publications in the area of OBD Communications techniques.

Bob is currently the OBD Communication Expert for Volkswagen Group of America. His duties include investigation and analysis of OBD issues in the field for Volkswagen group vehicles. His activities also include technical representation for the Volkswagen Group in North America in OBD related matters. He is Vice-Chairman of the SAE E/E Diagnostics Committee and is a constant contributor to its attendant OBD-related Task Forces. He is Vice-Chairman of both the J1962 Vehicle Diagnostic Connector Task Force and J1978 OBDII Scan Tool Task Forces. He is also co-author of the J1699-2 Test Cases for OBD-II Scan Tools and I/M Test Equipment Task Force.

Prior to Acotel, Nino served as Vice President of Business Development for Anoto/Ericsson where he developed the US market for the company's revolutionary digital communication technology. 

Before joining Anoto, Nino led the global business development effort for Iridium/Motorola establishing partnerships with wireless operators and resellers in 42 countries. Prior still, Nino held several senior product and business development positions within Telecom Italia Group programs in Europe. Most recently he has researched opportunities for Telematics to reduce auto claims frequency and severity, as detailed in his whitepaper, "Cars and Trucks Are Talking: Why Insurers Should Listen." He has also recently published a white paper analyzing the opportunity and potential impact of Mobile Telematics to redefine the Auto Insurance, "Redefining the Customer Experience". Tom is also a frequent contributor to highly respected industry publications, including Best's Review, Business Insurance, Risk & Insurance, Insurance & Technology, Insurance Networking News and he has also appeared on Fox Business News. Big data, more specifically big vehicle data is what Paul likes to talk about. Paul wants to record one billion miles by the end of 2014. Big is truly better.

Prior to becoming R&D Director at Wunelli, a LexisNexis Company, Paul studied engineering and then gained a scholarship to complete his Masters of Mathematics. After studies Paul joined the Insurance industry, working first in Australia and then in the last decade in the United Kingdom. In 2006 Paul was the British Insurance Times Young Insurer of the Year.

Paul is both Australian and English and lives in Hampshire England with his wife and two sons, both of which will have telematics devices installed in their vehicles.

Roosevelt Mosley is a Principal and Consulting Actuary with Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc. and has over 20 years of property and casualty actuarial experience. Gail is a Partner in the litigation department of the law firm of Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider in New York and Connecticut. Her practice focuses on class action defense, management-side labor and employment litigation and other complex commercial matters. She is one of the few defense lawyers to have been involved in the trial of a class action to verdict before a jury.

In addition to her practice, Gail is a Teaching Assistant at Columbia University for a course in Intellectual Property, Ethics and Litigation in Columbia's M.S. program in Information and Knowledge Strategy. Gail serves as the Director of the Connecticut Chapter of Women in eDiscovery. She is a member of the Law Technology News Editorial Board and a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance eDiscovery and ESI Publications Committee. She is also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Gail is active in The Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention & Production and is part of the drafting team chosen to update its Commentary on Legal Holds. Steve Bojan brings over 18 years of operations and risk management experience in the transportation industry to HUB International. He came on board as a Senior Risk Consultant in the Risk Services Division (HUB Risk Services) and is presently the Vice President for Risk Services - Fleet. He serves as a resource for HUB clients with transportation related risks, providing risk control, safety, property, environmental, and workers compensation reduction guidance to HUB’s clients.

Mr. Bojan’s specialties include, but are not limited to, transportation risk management, driver and supervisor training, truckload operations, DOT compliance, safety program development, and specialty fleet operations, including moving and non-emergency medical transportation.

During his career, Mr. Bojan has served as a Risk Management Analyst for USF Logistics, Operations Manager for a large moving and storage company, Insurance and Claims Manager for JDC Logistics, and most recently as a Risk Engineer for Zurich’s Transportation Division. Additionally, he was responsible for branch management and human resources in a number of his positions.

As a loss control consultant, Mr Bojan provided fleet safety consulting services to construction, business vehicle and trucking fleets. He conducted driver training on DOT regulations, defensive driving, and vehicle inspections. Additionally, he reviewed DOT compliance programs and worked with clients to improve them so that they were would be acceptable during audits. He also worked with clients to review losses for critical trends and conducted root cause analysis for large losses. While at Zurich also conducted risk assessments for underwriters to determine risk exposure for new and existing clients.

As an Insurance and Claims Manager at JDC Logistics ($120M truckload carrier), Mr. Bojan was responsible for purchasing all lines of insurance and managing all claims, including workers compensation, auto liability, and cargo. He also worked as part of the safety team to identify loss trends and implement a number of best practices to reduce the cost of risk. He reduced the cost of premiums for all lines of insurance, worked proactively with insurance carriers, and assisted with the implementation of new safety programs to reduce the number of accidents, serve as a resource for haz mat, OSHA, and created cargo claims program.

As a Risk Management Analyst at USF Logistics, Mr. Bojan served as a safety and compliance resource for dedicated logistics accounts throughout North America, and managed the claims process for large auto and workers compensation claims. In this role he coordinated accident situations, including haz-mat and DOT reportable situations, negotiated and processed the settlement of physical and property damage claims, assessed liability exposure and created an accrual for all accidents. He coordinated legal counsel on litigated claims, expedite the TPA’s handling of claims, and prevented fraudulent claims.

Mr. Bojan holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Media Studies from the University of Illinois, and a Masters of Business Administration with an Industrial Marketing Concentration from Miami University.

Chris Carver has over 25 years experience working with connected vehicles products and GPS based risk management. He is President of ATG Risk Solutions, the insurance industry’s largest aggregator of Commercial Auto telematics data. Previously he led the Liberty Mutual Commercial Auto telematics data program for 4 years. Over the preceding 20 years he led the development of numerous telematics products including with one of the first GPS based risk management products - an airborne data system first flown by US Airways Express in 1995. He has authored five patents on telematics analytics and GPS data management.
