In the past 15 years I have been involved in road transport, currently working at a hazardous materials transportation business. I discovered Telematics through an eco-driving platform that I have developed with TSPs Squarell, Sledat and Solvera Lynx, back in 2008. Following this I was in charge of product development for an Iridium/GPRS based vessel tracking system with its own SW platform. Recently I have been involved in SW configuration management, where I realised that often software development misses requirements from the market. I have had a chance to explore the pros and cons of telematics as a fleet manager and I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with the telematics community at Connected Fleets Europe 2015.
