Colin Willcock graduated from the University of Sheffield, UK, with a B.Sc in Phyiscs in 1986, an MSc. In Astronomical Technology from the University of Edinburgh in 1987 and a Ph.D. in Parallel Computation from the University of Kent at Canterbury in 1992. Dr. Willcock joined Nokia in 1999, and is currently Head of Radio Network Standardization. He has participated extensively in standardization activities at ETSI, ITU-T and 3GPP, and also has extensive experience of European research having led a number of European projects. In March Colin was elected as the new board chairman for the 5G Infrastructure Association.

He spent the first eight years of his career working on mobile networks (2G and 3G) during an early deployment in France at Ericsson and Siemens respectively.
During his time at Continental, he has already been in charge of developing new businesses in the Infotainment and Connectivity (IC) Business Unit, which included 3G and 4G Telematics Control Units and Intelligent Antenna Module for several European and Japanese car manufacturers. Thomas is now in charge of the product portfolio for Telematics in Europe , Automated Driving and Connectivity.
Alexander Klotz Director R&D, Interior System & Technology, Interior DivisionView Bio
Alexander Klotz is Director R&D within the Interior division and located in Babenhausen, Germany. A position he has held since December 2015, Klotz is responsible for advanced product development and systems engineering. Information management in and beyond the vehicle is at the very heart of the Interior division. Therefore, the key topics include holistic human-machine interface, connected vehicles and automated driving. Klotz began his automotive engineering career 17 years ago. He gained experience in vehicle testing, project management, customer and product strategy, simultaneous engineering and innovation. His experience includes assignments in USA and Japan and covers safety relevant products like ESC and ADAS as well all Interior products, such as instrument cluster and HUD. Klotz also launched and led the Silicon Valley office for Continental in 2013. In this role, he was connecting traditional automotive with consumer electronics companies and start-ups to find new technologies and business models. Klotz studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration (German Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur) at the Technical University Carolo Wilhelmina in Braunschweig, Germany.
Tim Leinmueller Chief Engineer - Information & Safety SystemsView Bio
Tim Leinmüller is currently the technical manager responsible for DENSO’s European Connected Automated Driving (CAD) research and standardization activities. He serves as official contact and is responsible for DENSO’s involvement in related industry groups and standardization activities, such as the 5G Automotive Association (5GAA), the Car2Car Communication Consortium (C2C-CC), and ETSI. Furthermore, he is representing DENSO in CAD related activities in CLEPA, EATA, and VDA. In total, Tim is working in the connected vehicles domain for more than 10 years. He is/has been serving in related organizations in multiple positions, amongst others as chair of the C2C-CC architecture working group.
Tim received his joint-degree in Electrical Engineering from ENST-Paris and University of Stuttgart in 2003. From 2003 to 2007 he was with DaimlerChrysler AG Group Research and Advanced Engineering. During that time, he was involved in multiple European research projects such as OverDRIVE, Ambient Networks, and Sevecom. He also contributed to the IETF NEMO (Network Mobility) WG.
In 2007 Tim joined DENSO AUTOMOTIVE Deutschland GmbH. He was responsible for EU V2X communication R&D activities, (co-)authored multiple publications, managed DENSO’s participation in multiple R&D projects, and served as advisory board member in several public funded projects. He established DENSO’s participations in V2X communication related organizations such as ETSI and the EU commission C-ITS platform.

Olivier Lenz is responsible for the consumer protection activities of the FIA in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He supports the Automobile Clubs from the Region I headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
He is managing the various aspects of mobility policy work related to connectivity, efficiency and affordability, road safety and environmental protection from consumer perspective. In cooperation with the member organisations he coordinates the advocacy on commonly agreed policies towards external stakeholders, in particular European institutions and private stakeholder interests.
He is furthermore responsible for projects and multi-stakeholder co-operations with view to supporting and strengthening the organisation’s objectives and strategies. He previously worked at the FIA Mobility Division in Paris where he was responsible for developing the organisation’s public affairs presence at global level, while promoting and matching the work done by the FIA and its members at regional level.
He also represented the FIA at the United Nations, in particular the Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), with focus on the regulatory work of the working parties addressing road safety and the environmental sustainability of motoring. He also administrated the global Mobility Policy Commission.

Ashley Stevenson is a recognized leader and communicator in the digital identity, credential and access management (ICAM) space, with extensive experience in US Federal ICAM architecture and implementation. Ashley drives Identity Relationship Management technology integration for the ForgeRock Open Identity Platform; he also directs ForgeRock’s involvement in public sector engagement.
Ashley was formerly the Chief Architect for the US Department of Homeland Security’s Enterprise ICAM Program, where he defined architecture and led numerous successful implementations, including federated single sign-on and trusted identity exchange. Mr. Weiss has a deep expertise in the field of connected mobility. He played a pivotal role within the navigation software startup gate5 in Berlin from its founding until the exit to Nokia in 2006. gate5 was the germ cell of HERE - a map and content provider that has recently been acquired by three German car makers for nearly 3 billion Euro.
Before founding German Autolabs Mr. Weiss was managing director and CEO of Aupeo. Under his leadership the music streaming startup developed into one of the leading provider of internet-based audio content for the automotive industry. Federico Tombari is Senior Research Scientist and Team Leader at the CAMPAR Chair, Technical University of Munich (TUM). He has more than 10 years of research experience in the field of computer vision and machine learning. He has co-authored more than 120 refereed papers on topics such as visual data representation, RGB-D object recognition, 3D reconstruction and matching, stereo vision, deep learning for computer vision. He got his Ph.D at 2009 from University of Bologna, where he was Assistant Professor from 2013 to 2016. In 2008 he was an intern at Willow Garage, California. He is a Senior Scientist volunteer for the Open Perception Foundation and a developer for the Point Cloud Library, for which he served, in 2012 and 2014, respectively as mentor and administrator in the Google Summer of Code. In 2015 he was the recipient of a Google Faculty Research Award. His works have been awarded at conferences and workshops such as 3DIMPVT'11, MICCAI'15, ECCV-R6D'16. He is a research partner of Google, BMW, Toyota and Zeiss.

Iain is the Senior Foresight Manager within Transport for London’s Innovation Directorate, focussing on emerging transport developments, the automotive sector and new technologies. This includes TfL’s relationship with car manufacturers and automotive suppliers, connected and autonomous vehicles, drones, policy and strategy development, including emerging models such as Mobility as a Service (MaaS), and the promotion of Ultra Low Emission Vehicles. Iain represents TfL on the UK Automotive Council Technology Group and the European Commission GEAR2030 Group developing the roadmap for the deployment of automated road transport. He is also a member of a number of Advisory Boards and Panels in the Future mobility sector.
Prior to joining TfL, he worked in a number of consultancies leading sustainable travel projects for major clients, including BAA, Nationwide and the Highways Agency. Iain previously worked for DHL and Boots the Chemist, where he was responsible for transport, security and development control at their head office campus in Nottingham. He was a Director of the Boots Benevolent Fund, as well as a Director and Company Secretary of the Association for Commuter Transport.

Christoph Weigler (born 1983) joined Uber in October 2015 and has been running the German business as General Manager of Uber Germany since August 2016. Before, he worked as a Senior Manager at Bain & Company in Munich and San Francisco. Gunnar Froh CEO & FounderView Bio
Gunnar Froh (1982) is a serial entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO at Wunder. His goal is to build a more human and a more sustainable alternative to individual car ownership.
A behavioral economist by training, Gunnar has co-founded and bootstrapped a company that was acquired by Airbnb in 2011. Gunnar opened Airbnb’s first office outside of the US and launched their internationalization efforts. He served in different leadership roles at Airbnb during its hypergrowth phase from 30 to 1,000 employees.
In 2009, Gunnar founded one of the first fully-automated car-sharing organizations and initiated a seed-fund for investments into German high-tech start-ups. Prior to joining the world of entrepreneurship Gunnar worked as Associate for McKinsey & Company serving clients in automotive, high-tech, and the public sector on operational efficiency.
