    Dieter May is the Senior Vice President of Digital Services and Business Models. Dieter May joined BMW in May 2014. Dieter has 23 years of experience in global high tech companies, spanning mobile products, large-scale cloud based consumer services and semiconductor technology. Dieter has a track record in scaling, transforming and re-positioning of global businesses.

    During his career, Dieter built and managed large scale and high performance teams in the US, Europe, India and China. His portfolio includes setting-up digital consumer services activities in Nokia with more than 200 M active users and focus on emerging markets, connecting the next billion consumers to the internet. Dieter also ran Nokia’s Emerging Businesses Unit and was instrumental in multiple strategic acquisitions.

    During Dieter's Corporate Strategy leadership with Infineon, the company made significant strides into the systems and solutions business and built the basis for its China activities. Dieter was also turning around one of Infineon’s global business divisions.

    In addition to his consulting background with Booz, Dieter held management positions with Motorola Semiconductors and IBM.

    Mr. Johann Jungwirth, has been Head of Digitalization Strategy of Volkswagen AG since November 1, 2015. Mr. Jungwirth was named Director, Mac Systems Engineering at Apple in Cupertino, CA (USA), in 2014.

    He was responsible for innovation in design and engineering in product development as well as hiring, growing and leading a multicultural research & development team and supporting the Special Projects Group.

    In 2009, he was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America to head the Research & Development Center in Sunnyvale, CA (USA), with additional international locations.

    From the center in Silicon Valley, he and his team were responsible for all research and development business units in the US market such as autonomous driving, powertrain and electric drive, technology and vehicle development, as well as telematics and user interaction design.

    From 2008 to 2014, Mr. Jungwirth was also Vice-President Infotainment and Telematics responsible for all research, engineering and product development for infotainment and connected car solutions. He also participated in the International Motor Vehicle Program of Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA (USA). He holds an Electrical Engineering degree Dipl.-Ing. (BA) from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart.

    Benoit Joly is building on over 20 years’ experience in developing business within the Telecom and High-Tech industry.

    He started at MCI WorldCom, responsible for the European portfolio of IP network solutions. Joining Technicolor in 2002, he helped create the Company’s VoIP devices strategy, before leading by 2004 marketing and pre-sales for its world’s leading IPTV and Mobile TV solution.

    He was then VP Digital Home Solutions, in charge of the company’s Digital Home portfolio for broadband, cable and telecom operators.

    Appointed SVP of Technicolor Marketing, he managed the Connected Home Division’s marketing activities between 2010 and 2016, and did oversee in addition the overall Group marketing plans between 2010 and 2013.

    Since 2013, he has been developing an innovative Digital Life solution that addresses the fast-growing IOT market opportunity, and received the prestigious CES Innovation Award in 2015.

    Now head of Sales & Marketing Connected Car for Renault Group, he coordinates and develops the company strategy, portfolio and business for Connected Car & Mobility Services, in strong coordination with the Renault- Nissan Alliance.

    Benoit has a Master's Degree in Network and IT Engineering from E.S.I.E.E and an MBA from E.S.S.E.C, majored in Strategy and Marketing.

He then went on to hold management positions in central and decentralised controlling, where he was responsible for sales controlling as of 2009 as well as coordination of the profitability program for all global sales companies and sales centers.

    He holds a degree in industrial engineering.

    David Wong is Technology and Innovation Manager at the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, the UK’s automotive industry trade body. Established in 1902, SMMT acts as the voice of the UK automotive industry by supporting and promoting the interests of some 700 member companies at home and abroad.

    David runs SMMT’s technology and innovation portfolio which includes connected and autonomous vehicles, electro-mobility, hydrogen-mobility and design engineering. An integral part of his portfolio is working with key stakeholders from automotive (vehicle manufacturers and suppliers), technology, telecoms, data and digital, legal, insurance, infrastructure, academia and government to find solutions to some emerging challenges surrounding the development, testing and deployment of connected and autonomous vehicles.

    David sits on the UK Automotive Council Technology Group, a government-industry partnership that sets strategic priorities and technology roadmaps for the automotive industry; the UK Government’s 5G Advisory Group; and the board of Cenex, a low-carbon technology consultancy.

    David was previously Business Models Co-Creator and Head of Organisations & Business Models Research at the Big Innovation Centre, a big business-funded innovation hub, where he advised private and public sector clients on business model innovation, value proposition development, innovation strategy and open innovation projects. Prior to that he was Senior Researcher at policy think tank the Relationships Foundation, and Director of the Centre for Knowledge and Business Leadership at the Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute.

    Prior to creating StratMa, Stephanie was Product Marketing Director and German Customer Director for Valeo Group in North America and member of the National Directorate.

    Before moving to the US in 2011, Stephanie was based in France as Director of Product Marketing for the Valeo Interior Controls Product Group. She joined Valeo in 2006 as Marketing and Business Development Manager.

    In addition to her consulting background with IBM Consulting Group, Stephanie held management positions at a Tier 2 supplier in Luxemburg and at a start-up company in Germany.

    She holds a degree in mechanical engineering and master degrees in foreign trade and international management.

    Asaf holds a B.Sc Cum Laude in Computer Science and B.A in Philosophy from TelAviv University.

    Michael Wong is the Vice President of Research and Development at Codeplay Software, a Scottish company that produces compilers, debuggers, runtimes, testing systems, and other specialized tools to aid software development for heterogeneous systems, accelerators and special purpose processor architectures, including GPUs and DSPs. Previously, he was the Senior Technical Strategy Architect for IBM compilers.

    He is the Canadian Head of Delegation to the C++ Standard and a past CEO of OpenMP. He is also a Director and VP of ISOCPP.org, and Vice-Chair of Programming Languages for Canada’s Standard Council. He has so many titles, it’s a wonder he can get anything done. He chairs WG21 SG14 Games Development/Low Latency/Financial/Embedded Devices and WG21 SG5 Transactional Memory, and is the co-author of a book on C++ and a number C++/OpenMP/Transactional Memory features including generalized attributes, user-defined literals, inheriting constructors, weakly ordered memory models, and explicit conversion operators. Having been the past C++ team lead to IBM’s XL C++ compiler means he has been messing around with designing C++ compilers for twenty-five years. His current research interest, i.e. what he would like to do if he had time is in the area of parallel programming, future programming models for self-driving cars and low-power devices, lock-free programming, transactional memory, C++ benchmark performance, object model, generic programming and template metaprogramming. He holds a B.Sc from University of Toronto, and a Masters in Mathematics from University of Waterloo.

    He has been asked to speak/keynote at many conferences, companies, research centers, universities, including CPPCON, Bloomberg, U of Houston, U of Toronto, ACCU, C++Now, Meeting C++, ADC++, CASCON, Bloomberg, CERN, Barcelona Supercomputing Center, FAU Erlangen, LSU, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Texas A&M University, Parallel, KIT School, CGO, Euro TM Graduate School, and Going Native.

    He is the current Editor for the Concurrency TS and the Transactional Memory TS.

    Before PTOLEMUS, Frederic was managing TomTom’s global Content & Services Product Line in Amsterdam. Previously, for Vodafone / SFR in Paris, he assumed several management responsibilities including Head of Multimedia Strategy & Programme Management.

    Mr. Bruneteau also worked for Arthur D. Little in London and BNP Paribas in New York.

    He is a graduate of HEC Paris and the University of Cologne (CEMS).

    Mr Robinson has a background in car-navigation and Human-Machine-Interfaces (HMI) design at Alpine electronics where he led interface design breakthroughs including the worlds first production automotive-interface using Macromedia Flash in 2004 (Jaguar XK), which was also used in the Land Rover Freelander 3 and the Jaguar XF. He was also a key HMI consultant on several award-winning OEM navigation systems for Honda and Acura , including the first navigation head unit with a DVD-Audio drive and surround sound (2004 Acura TL) (JD Power No.1: 2001-2005).

    Mr Robinson focuses on the strategic issues thrown up by the migration of Infotainment/Telematics from the traditional automotive focus of the past, to the highly dynamic consumer and connectivity-lead focus of the future.

    Prior to joining Strategy Analytics Mr Robinson was Principal Analyst leading iSupplis research on automotive infotainment and telematics.
